You have a military background. How does that relate to design?
8 years in Army Intelligence taught me systems thinking, operational planning, and executing under pressure. I approach product design the same way I approached mission planning: understand the objective, map the system, identify failure points, execute with precision. That operational mindset is why I can scale teams, build design operations from scratch, and ship products that actually work at scale
Can you actually code, or do you just prototype?
I ship production code. React, TypeScript, CI/CD pipelines, Docker deployments. I've built full-stack AI platforms solo, deployed to Railway and Cloudflare, and handed off production-ready components to engineering teams. I'm not a senior engineer, but I vibe code well enough to prototype functionally, communicate with engineers in their language, and understand what's actually possible vs. what's a pipe dream.
Everyone says they do "AI design" now. What makes yours different?
I build the actual products. I've engineered RAG pipelines, orchestrated autonomous agents in ElizaOs, and LangChain, designed interfaces for non-deterministic systems, and shipped AI platforms that handle real research workflows. I'm not designing chatbot UIs and calling it AI expertise. I'm designing systems where multiple agents coordinate, knowledge graphs inform retrieval. That's the difference
What kind of role are you looking for?
AI product design roles where I can own the vision, build teams, and lead AI transformation. I want to reduce the friction between design and production by implementing AI-accelerated workflows for prototyping, auditing design systems, and UX engineering. Ideal companies are building autonomous systems, agentic platforms, or defense tech where operational thinking matters. I thrive when there's a design ops function to establish, designers to mentor, and processes to optimize. Give me ownership to transform how design teams work and I'll make them 10x faster without sacrificing quality.
